Bob Owens’ Quarter Horses is located at the 2000′ level in the arid Okanagan Region of British Columbia. Good breeding and a good environment helps develop the best horses you can find.

Bob Owens’ Quarter Horses is Bob and Paddy Owens. Long time residents of British Columbia, Paddy and Bob now call Summerland their home, although they are well known in the horse racing community from Williams Lake to El Paso.

What sets Bob’s horses apart is quality. Bob bought his first horse with every last cent in his pocket in the late ’40s. At the time, no-one could understand why anyone would spend that much on an unknown horse, but here we are 60 years later and that bloodline continues to produce horses of the highest calibre.

Quarterhorses sometimes seem like a dime a dozen, but a quarterhorse with a proven bloodline is increasingly hard to find. BR Quarterhorses are only bred from quality stock with proven bloodlines. Our colts of many colours are testament to this careful management of breeding stock over many decades.
